Destiny Rescue is an international non-profit organization with a single mission - to rescue children from sexual exploitation and human trafficking and help them stay free. Using our network of highly-trained agents, we seek out trafficked and sexually exploited kids, rescue them and build individualized Freedom Plans™  to equip them to live a life of freedom. We conduct rescue and reintegration operations in five regions across Asia, Africa and Latin America. We also have support offices in the United States, Australia and New Zealand. Our team of dedicated professionals endeavours to work with focus and integrity to a single end: saving as many children as possible.

Join Destiny Rescue as a Project Leader in Uganda!

 

At Destiny Rescue, our mission is to rescue children from sexual exploitation and human trafficking, and to help them stay free. Currently operating in 5 regions globally, we are expanding our reach and seeking passionate individuals to join our dedicated team.

 

Position: Full-Time Project Leader

Location: Uganda

*Please note a requirement of this role is that you will live in Uganda on a full time basis, no short term applications will be accepted.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the project to ensure that strategic outcomes for rescuing children are achieved.
  • Supervise daily operations and provide connection to our funding nations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with partner organisations.
  • Implement and monitor reintegration programs for rescued children.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including budgeting and compliance.
  • Assist with human resources tasks and strategy development.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years in a management role.
  • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain partnerships.
  • Able to commit for a 2-year period.
  • Passionate about making a difference.
  • Experience in social impact work, such as anti-trafficking, is desirable but not essential.
