Keeping God at the center of everything we do

VIEW CURRENT PRAYER REQUESTS

Our number one strategic priority as an organization is to keep God at the center of everything we do. We aim to discern God’s plans and follow His leading one day at a time as we join in His work of rescue and freedom.

Jesus came to give a full life. Trafficking children and treating them like a product is an assault against that. We aim to give back the opportunity for these kids to have that life.”

Go and do likewise

We have a triage mindset at Destiny Rescue—meaning we meet the most immediate needs for as many victims as possible.

The heart of our approach comes from what we call our “Good Samaritan” model. It comes from the Parable of the Good Samaritan that Jesus shared in Luke 10:25-37. After being asked, “And who is my neighbor?” Jesus answered by telling a parable about a man who is robbed, stripped and beaten on his way from Jerusalem to Jericho. Both a priest and a Levite walked past him and left him to suffer and die. A Samaritan (a people group who did not associate with Jews) saw the Jewish man and had compassion. He bound his wounds, brought him to an inn, cared for him and covered his future care expenses.

After sharing this parable, Jesus asked the man which passersby proved to be a neighbor. The man said, “The one who showed him mercy.” And Jesus told him to “go and do likewise.

This is our aim—to find kids who are exploited and abused, meet their immediate needs, provide them a safe place and cover the expenses for their healing and path to freedom.

We like to say that our donors are the ones who “pay the bill to the innkeeper”—paying the “freedom bill” that transforms her life forever.

“Do this and you will live.”

– JESUS, LUKE 25:28

We believe we’ve been rescued to rescue

God is the Author of the greatest rescue plan in history as He sent His one and only Son into the world to rescue us from sin and death and give us eternal and abundant life.

As children and servants of God, we believe we’re called to join Him in helping rescue others from darkness and equipping their freedom.

In Scripture, we see that God has much to say about the issue of injustice and the importance of His people taking a stand for those being exploited.

We believe the Church has a responsibility to rescue kids who are suffering in one of the darkest evils on earth. We believe we’ve been rescued to rescue!

Give justice to the poor and the orphan; uphold the rights of the oppressed and the destitute. Rescue the poor and helpless; deliver them from the grasp of evil people.

PSALM 82:3-4 (NLT)

Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed. Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless, and see that they get justice.

PROVERBS 31:8-9 (NLT)

Learn to do good. Seek justice. Help the oppressed. Defend the orphan. Fight for the right of widows.

ISAIAH 1:17 (NLT)

Persistent in prayer

We believe the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective (James 5:16). Jesus said that if we have faith even as small as a mustard seed, we can move mountains (Matthew 17:20).

In order to see child trafficking and exploitation abolished, we need to be warring in prayer against the evil that has caused this horrendous injustice to exist.

Activating faith in the 10/40 window

The 10/40 window refers to an area of the globe spanning between 10 and 40 degrees north of the equator—encompassing parts of North Africa, the Middle East and Asia. This geographical region is believed to be home to some of the largest unreached people groups on earth.

God has led us to have multiple rescue projects across the 10/40 window to rescue kids and ignite faith amidst mass poverty and persecution.

We intentionally protect our teams and survivors who live in regions that have any level of hostility toward Christianity, but it’s our goal to share the gospel and love of God with every survivor who enters our care.

Our statement of faith

We affirm our belief in the teachings of the Holy Christian Bible.

We affirm the statement of faith established by the World Evangelical Alliance.

We believe in:

The Holy Scriptures as originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy; and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

One God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit

Our Lord Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, His virgin birth, His sinless human life, His divine miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, His mediatorial work and His personal return in power and glory.

The Salvation of lost and sinful man through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ by faith apart from works, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the believer is enabled to live a holy life, to witness and work for the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Unity of the Spirit of all true believers, the Church, the Body of Christ.

The Resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

I am so thankful to Destiny Rescue for my life because I am now a transformed person who loves prayers. I can associate with other people, which wasn’t the case before, and I give God back all the glory and honor.”
