Destiny Rescue finds and rescues children from sex trafficking in Cambodia and helps them stay free. Our reintegration services are culturally-relevant and focus on each child’s future. Kids also experience Christ’s love and care from our servant-hearted staff.

Cambodia might be a place of beautiful sights and culture, but some of its people live in hopelessness.

The sex industry in Cambodia finds and takes advantage of poor, vulnerable children. Young girls without many opportunities fall prey to jobs in beer gardens and karaoke bars that soon turn into a life of sexual exploitation.

In addition to offering children a way out of the sex industry individually, our rescue team in Cambodia collaborates with other agencies on operations that rescued groups of survivors from sex and labor trafficking. After these rescue operations, government social workers or other non-governmental organizations manage next steps for survivors.

Our work in Cambodia

Undercover Investigations

Our rescue agents go undercover in brothels, bars and on the streets to find children being sexually exploited. Once found, we build trust with them and offer a way out.

Community Care

Community care is a service where survivors live at home and follow a reintegration program called a Path to Freedom. They’re also given nutritional, medical and emotional support and vocational training.

Reintegration

Our reintegration team creates personalised plans for each child after their rescue to equip them to stay free. These plans involve reducing a child’s vulnerabilities such as debt, lack of education or mental-health concerns while providing new opportunities for growth and stability.

We team up with many businesses and organisations that can provide children with quality education or safe employment.
