10-year-old boy rescued in the Dominican Republic


We collaborated with police to rescue a 10-year-old boy in the Dominican Republic.

Our investigators helped police arrest the child’s abuser. The boy’s next steps were determined by the government’s child services department.

Our work with law enforcement agencies in the Dominican Republic has led to a dramatic increase in cases fighting trafficking and exploitation in the region.

43 rescued at the Nepal border


Border agents rescued 43 people from traffickers attempting to lure them out of the country.

Seventeen of those rescued were children. Because of a social stigma in the region about those who are deceived by traffickers, most of those we rescue at the border choose not to press charges.

But in this group, one brave young woman decided to take police action against the man who trafficked her. That decision will keep a dangerous criminal from victimizing others.

21 teens stepped into freedom from sex trafficking and exploitation in Southeast Asia


The girls are now free after multiple rescue efforts across three countries in Southeast Asia.

Among those rescued were two 18-year-olds and children as young as 12. Nine of the girls joined our Community Care program, and the others were referred to the care of another trusted organization or reunited with their families.

17 children rescued from sexual exploitation in Kenya


The children are now free from sex trafficking and exploitation.

The children were between 7 and 17 years old, and two of them were boys. Half of the children were being trafficked by adults, while the other half were forced to sell their bodies just to survive without the presence of a trafficker.

Raid rescues four from sex trafficking in the Philippines


Three children and one young woman were rescued during a raid in the Philippines.

The young woman was 22 years old, and the girls were all three between 13 and 15 years. Because of this raid with police, they have been pulled out of a trade that, tragically, often results in decades of exploitation. Many exploited women began as children just like these three. We are working closely with the Filipino government to stop the cycle of exploitation. Read more on our blog here.
